A British tourist who went missing in St Lucia after attending a street party on the island has been found, according to local police.
Jemima Colenso, 33, is from Somerset and has been living on a boat moored at Rodney Bay Marina on the north of the island.
She was reported missing yesterday, prior to which police said she was last seen at the Gros Islet street party at around 11.26pm on Friday.
In an update this afternoon, Royal St Lucia Police posted on social media that Ms Colenso ‘has been located and is in good health.’
The force’s statement went on to ‘thank everyone who assisted in locating her.’

Ms Colenso hails from Somerset. She is an avid sailor and has shared many pictures from her travels
Police reportedly launched a vast search for Ms Colenso and said they were working ‘around the clock’ to locate her.
According to The Sun, a police source revealed that Ms Colenso ‘brought herself into the station to say that she is fine and thanked the police for their efforts in trying to locate her.’
‘She said that her phone was damaged and hence the reason why she could not be contacted nor contact anyone,’ they added.
A street vendor who works at the popular street party Ms Colenso was attending expressed their shock that she had disappeared.
‘People come from all over the world to celebrate and we don’t expect them to go missing,’ the vendor was quoted as saying.
‘The police have always done a good job in keeping everyone safe and protected in this town.’
