Hilary Duff enjoyed some down time with her close friend Mandy Moore on Monday evening in the Studio City neighborhood of Los Angeles.
The 36-year-old Younger actress was seen having dinner with the 39-year-old This Is Us star at an outdoor table at a food court.
The ladies sat side by side as they downed their meals which were in takeout containers at the self-serve restaurant.
Texas native Duff appeared to be in great spirits as she chatted away during the meal using animated expressions.
Moore – born Amanda Leigh Moore – listened intently as she was also joined by her musician husband Taylor Goldsmith.

Duff was dressed for comfort in a chocolate brown hoodie with a drawstring in front as she added matching sweatpants that gathered at the ankle.
Instead of shoes, Hilary wore step-in beige slippers with a fuzzy lining.
For some glamour, the TV star wore a gold chain necklace with several pendants dangling down the front. Her hoop earrings were also gold and she flashed her diamond ring from her husband, Matthew Koma.
She flashed a dark maroon manicure on her long nails.
Mandy had on a cream colored blazer over a mocha latte beige turtleneck top.
Her brunette hair was worn in a ponytail as she had wavy curtain bangs in her face. She was nicely made up with plum-toned makeup.
Moore also had a dark maroon manicure though the length of her nails were much shorter.
Last year Moore talked about Duff’s incredible parenting skills – she has three children.

‘Hilary is the coolest and she is a super-mom,’ the actress told InStyle in an interview published in 2022.
‘She and [husband] Matt [Koma] have become really close friends with my husband and I.’
Moore and Goldsmith wed in 2018 and now are parents to two boys.
They welcomed their first baby, August ‘Gus’ Harrison, in 2021. Their second baby, Oscar ‘Ozzie’ Bennett Goldsmith, was born in October 2022.
And Hilary has Mae, two, and Banks, five, with Koma, and Luca, 11, with ex-husband, Mike Comrie.
Hilary and Mandy are part of the same Los Angeles parenting group that also has Meghan Trainor and Ashley Tisdale.
‘[Hilary and Matt] have a kid who’s six weeks younger than Gus. And so, we had babies at the same time,’ Moore explained.
‘And [Hilary], being the super-mom that she is, formed a cool mom club. Somehow, I got invited into it and it’s the best.’

Mandy has ‘made so many wonderful friends’ through the parenting group.
‘We all just gathered earlier this week and had dinner and we have baby classes together and it’s incredible. It’s so much fun,’ the actress continued.
‘I’m very, very grateful to have those resources and just incredible women to be able to lean on. We’re all kind of going through this chapter of our lives together.’
The ‘cool mom club’ meet up for play dates like picnics.
This comes after Duff talked about how challenging it can be during the holidays with kids and work.
‘We have so much going on with school events and birthdays and other stuff. Our fall is really busy,’ Hilary told Women’s Health this week.
‘And we always host Thanksgiving and Christmas at our house,’ added the 5ft2in star who has a 26 inch waistline.
The star told the site that she works out early in the morning to make sure it gets done.

‘You feel like you spend all day eating and drinking, so it’s nice to get it out of the way and just know you did it,’ she explains.
‘All the places that I work out at are open on the holidays in the morning for one class.’
Hilary’s top workout classes are the Tracy Anderson Method, and Silver Springs, the offers pilates in a hot studio. The star loves to get ‘a little bit more sweaty’ and is into ‘purging of toxins.’
‘There’s nothing better than the way [that workout] makes your skin feel,’ Hilary said.
‘You feel like you got rid of what you needed to get rid of, and then your skin just feels so nice. I really like that feeling.’
She keeps family time active, too. When Hilary’s kids are home from school, they swim or jump on the trampoline.
The Never Let You Go singer asks husband Koma for some quality couple time.
‘I play tennis every Sunday. My husband and I have that together, which is really nice.
In shape: Hilary Duff likes to stay in top shape all year round. But it becomes challenging for her during the holidays when the 36-year-old Lizzie McGuire actress has three kids to manage at home
‘About two years ago, I told him, “Here’s the deal: We need a sport so we still like each other when the kids leave the house,”‘ she said.
‘So now we ski, which is obviously seasonal. And we play tennis together, which is really fun.’
At the gym she prefers strength training.
‘Lifting weights, as a woman, is really important. It’s important for your bones. It’s important for us constantly being on our cell phones and our posture,’ she said.
‘I’m not talking like crazy heavy weights. You know, I’m not a bodybuilder. But it is nice to lift weights. I was doing that 12-3-30 workout [on my treadmill], but it was getting really easy for me,’ she said. ‘So then, I started wearing a 12-pound weighted vest, and it got hard again. But I like it.’
