The daughter of Kamala Harris‘ running mate Tim Walz is sharing her thoughts on Democrats‘ devastating loss to Donald Trump saying the country did not deserve the vice president.
23-year-old Hope Walz hoped on TikTok on Thursday sporting a blue hoodie and messy bun to break her silence and give some post-election takes while sitting on a couch eating SpongeBob mac and cheese.
‘I’ve like officially reached the point of anger, and I’m not an angry person so I’m just trying to channel it,’ Walz shared with her 65-thousand followers.
‘This country does not deserve Kamala Harris,’ Walz said.
‘That woman should go live her best life where ever she wants doing whatever she wants because we don’t deserve her at this point,’ she said.
Walz got to know the vice president as her family while campaigned furiously for the Democratic presidential ticket after her father, Minnesota‘s governor, was picked as Harris’ running mate in August.
Hope Walz spotted a video on TikTok where she shared her post-election thoughts. She said the country does not deserve Vice President Harris and that she is angry
Walz was seen at campaign events with her dad across the country as he met with voters. She also delivered some memorable online social media content of their close relationship from the campaign trail.
Walz slammed voters in the less than two minute video saying the only people that delivered this election were black women and ‘we failed them.’
‘It’s just heartbreaking, and we’ve go to do whatever we can to support them and support our people through these next four years,’ Walz said shaking her head.
That’s when Walz appeared to became more angry as she spoke. She said Trump and his running mate JD Vance have to be Trump and Vance, and it is not a punishment she would wish upon anybody except them.

‘I’m just really grateful that I am who I am and that I’m on the side of love and hope and joy and progress,’ she said.
Walz said as time goes on, she expects she’ll have more thoughts and plans to share them on TikTok, calling the social media platform a good outlet.
‘I’m giving myself the week to be sad and to mourn what could have been, what should have been, but that’s not where we are, and that’s not reality,’ she said.
She said after her week to accept it that’s when ‘the work starts.’
‘We got this America, we’re going to be ok,’ she concluded.
The video already has more than 105,000 likes on TikTok.
‘2nd day post election thoughts, support your people, lean into community, prioritize love over hate, we’ll be alright,’ she wrote in the caption.

In another TikTok, Walz showed her and her younger brother Gus driving in a car together and celebrating that they were able to hit the road together for the first time without Secret Service.
‘Finally free,’ her 18-year-old brother chimed in.
Walz said she would not describe it like that but admitted it is a little weird and does feel freeing.
The two were listening to Tom Petty’s ‘I Won’t Back Down.’
She shared that the appreciate everyone and their dad is ‘doing amazing.’
