A top Kremlin official has warned a ‘tired’ Donald Trump could face a JFK-style assassination if he ‘really tries’ to end Vladimir Putin‘s war against Ukraine should he emerge victorious from today’s US presidential election.
The chilling warning came on Sunday from close Putin crony Dmitry Medvedev, formerly Russian president and his country’s longest-serving prime minister, now deputy head of the Kremlin’s security council.
He also branded US Vice President and Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris ‘stupid’ and ‘controllable’ who – as president – would be ‘afraid of everyone around her’.
‘For Russia, the elections will not change anything, since the candidates’ positions fully reflect the bipartisan consensus on the need for our country to be defeated [in the war].
‘Kamala is stupid, inexperienced, controllable and will be afraid of everyone around her. A synod of the most important ministers and assistants will rule, plus indirectly the Obama family.’
Trump may face the same fate as John F Kennedy in 1963, predicted Medvedev, who was Russian president from 2008 to 2012.
‘A tired Trump, issuing platitudes like ”I’ll offer a deal” and ”I have a great relationship with…” will also be forced to follow all the system’s rules.
‘He won’t be able to stop the war. Not in a day, not in three days, not in three months.
‘And if he really tries, he could become the new JFK.’

President Kennedy was shot dead in one of world’s most infamous assassinations on November 22, 1963, as his open-top presidential motorcade rumbled through the centre of Dallas, Texas.
Medvedev – who a day earlier warned the West not to underestimate Putin’s willingness to use nuclear weapons – said the result of the election was of little importance.
‘Only one thing matters: how much money the new POTUS will knock out for someone else’s distant war – for his military-industrial complex and for the [Ukrainians] to cut up.
‘Therefore, the best way to please the candidates for the highest American office on November 5 is to continue to smash the Kyiv Nazi regime.’
The Kremlin has denied frequent accusations that it seeks to interfere in the American election.
Using a derogatory Russian term for the US, he said: ‘The world is frozen in awkward poses ahead of the presidential elections in the overseas Pindostan’.
Medvedev is Putin’s deputy on the Russian Security Council, a powerful Kremlin body responsible for formulating national security policies and coordinating their implementation.
He is also the first deputy chairman of the Military-Industrial Commission, overseeing Russia’s defence industry, and chairman of state giant Rostelecom, the country’s largest digital services provider.
On Saturday, Medvedev warned Putin is ready to use nuclear weapons and trigger World War Three if provoked.
The West is mistaken to believe he will ‘never cross a certain line’, the former president remarked.

‘If we are talking about the existence of our state, as the president of our country has repeatedly said… we simply will not have any choice,’ said Medvedev.
The US and West were ‘wrong’ in thinking Putin would not cross the line if NATO sought to inflict a defeat on Russia in the Ukraine war.
‘If the new [US] leader is going to be fiercely dedicated to adding fuel to the fire of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, it will be a very bad choice.
‘Because this is the road to hell. It’s really a road to World War Three.
‘Whoever decides to continue the war will be making a very dangerous mistake,
‘You have to be an absolute moron.’
Medvedev’s statements came as EU officials held ‘crisis talks’ to determine how the continent will fare if Donald Trump wins the presidential election.
Trump and Kamala Harris are neck and neck as they leave their hopes of winning the Oval Office to the American public, with aggregated poll data from FiveThirtyEight suggesting Harris is one point ahead, well within a margin of error.
Following his fractured relationship with the EU during his time as the 45th president, bloc officials have privately said they are extremely worried about what he may do if elected.
Officials said they have drawn up plans to heavily tax products symbolic of America’s national identity, including Kentucky Bourbon and Harley-Davidson motorbikes, if Trump decides to be bullish with the EU with regard to trade deals.
These products come from states that are vulnerable to swinging in the 2026 midterm election, which bloc officials believe will pressure Congressional representatives to work against Trump.
