Katy Perry has turned on her friend Elon Musk just hours before election day in the US, which falls on Tuesday.
The 40-year-old pop singer shared on Monday that she has agreed to perform at Kamala Harris‘ Pennsylvania rally even though Elon is strongly supporting Harris’ competitor Donald Trump.
Perry also shared a video to Instagram with Harris where she called the politician a ‘KatyCat.’
Also at the Monday rally will be Oprah, Lady Gaga, Jazmine Sullivan, and the Roots. Pennsylvania is a swing state so it is important for Kamala to have a show of star power in the day before the election.
Perry is no stranger to supporting politicians: in 2016 she sang Roar at the Democratic National Convention and she belted out Firework at Joe Biden‘s inauguration.

Last week CNN took issue with Musk’s assertion that undocumented immigrants are voting in strong numbers in US elections for Democrats.
Musk has used X to falsely claim that Democrats are ‘importing voters’ by ‘flying millions’ of undocumented immigrants into the US, so they can vote for Harris in the 2024 election.
It is a far-right conspiracy theory.
The 2024 US presidential election campaign has been a particularly volatile one.
