A bride-to-be has issued a warning to others planning a wedding to always do a hair and makeup trail before the big day.
Florence wanted glamorous Hollywood waves for her wedding and showed a hair stylist a series of reference photos before booking in a trail.
However, Florence left the appointment with ‘sad’, straggly, loose curls.
She said the incident showed how important it can be to do a test run with hairdressers and makeup artists so you’re not stuck with a botched beauty look for your wedding.
Thousands were shocked by the ‘horrible’ job the stylist did and were relieved Florence opted for a trial before her upcoming nuptials in October.

In an online video, Florence showed several images she had found online of brides with ultra-chic styled waves that she had sent to the hairdresser.

The stylist tried to replicate the hair do but Florence’s blonde locks ended up looking messy with little volume.
‘I cannot stress the importance of hair and makeup trials enough…. YOU NEED A HAIR AND MAKEUP TRIAL! And sometimes, no matter how nice someone is, you can’t hire them,’ the bride captioned the clip.
In another video Florence said she ‘could have done better’ herself and showed another view of the styling job from the back immediately after leaving the appointment she paid $30 for.
Thousands were taken aback by Florence’s wedding hair fail and it sparked a heated debate in the comments.
‘The way my jaw dropped,’ one viewer replied.
‘They did you DIRTY,’ another laughed while a third said: ‘The way I gasped…nothing could’ve prepared me for this’.
‘The good news is that it’s a trial and not the day, right?!’ a fourth added.
However many were quick to point out hair extensions are usually needed for the style Florence was after and $30 was too cheap for a hairdresser to achieve the look.
‘Hollywood waves are such a hard style to master along with loads of extensions added, this is why it’s so important to look at your stylists page for photos etc of their own work,’ someone noted.
‘This is a special kind of set. Takes about two hours,’ another said while a third thought Florence’s hair was ‘too thin’ for the style.
‘I hear you – my hair appears thin from whatever she did to it, but I promise you there is no room for extensions with how thick my hair already is,’ Florence replied.
However some weren’t having it and said the stylist should have told Florence if she was unable to meet her expectations.
‘Even if her hair is too thin for this, that should have been communicated!’ one woman exclaimed.
‘I have medium fine hair and my stylist was able to create this look for me for my wedding. Lots of product and teasing. Good thing this was just a trial,’ a second wrote.
