Beauty lovers will be rushing to Aldi to get their hands on a popular beauty buy that is a budget dupe of Mecca’s iconic Brazilian Bum Bum Cream.
The $72 Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream has become a cult favourite among Mecca shoppers as it smooths and tightens the skin to lessen the appearance of cellulite.
However, many were delighted last year with Aldi launched the Lacura Summer Touch Booty Balm, its own version of the body cream without the high price tag – and it’s about to hit shelves again.
On Wednesday October 25, the $9.99 Booty Balm will be available as part of the Summer Loving Special Buys which also includes a range of Lacura creams, body washes and haircare.
The Booty Balm, which has been available in other Aldi stores internationally, has guarana extract and coconut oil for firming and conditioning the skin and a tropical scent.

‘Ummm has everyone seen the Sol de Janeiro dupe at Aldi next week?? Glow Oil and Booty Balm come at me!’ one woman wrote in a post to the YouBeauty Facebook group.
Members were quick to share their excitement over the dupe with many wanting to see if the booty balm was as good as Sol de Janeiro’s.
‘Oooh I hope it smells the same!,’ one woman said while another said: ‘OMG finally in Oz!’.
‘Shhhh…. Let’s not miss out,’ joked a third.
One shopper said they were dying to try the Aldi cream as they don’t like the scent of the pricey Bum Bum Cream.
