A popular budget self-tanning product has just launched at Woolworths – and women are racing to nab some before it sells out.
Reality star Christina Podolyan always wanted to try out the ‘iconic’ B.tan gel from Kmart, but the perennially sold out product always seemed to escape her grasp – until it landed on Woolworths shelves.
Thousands have claimed the product gives them a ‘better’ tan than a European summer holiday, and Christina couldn’t wait to test it herself.
The clear and transfer-resistant buy ($18 at Kmart, $22 at Woolworths) is an economical approach to looking your best without risking the sun damage of a natural tan.
‘B.tan has been going viral, I went absolutely rogue and stocked up on all the products because it always sells out,’ Christina said about her trip to her local supermarket.

The beauty buy is available in the shades ‘darkest’ and ‘insanely dark’ – with Christina opting for the latter.
Christina first moisturised and then recorded herself rubbing the gel in with a mit.
‘I like that it’s clear because it doesn’t come off on your clothes – so even if I do this in the morning I could still get dressed and go about my day,’ she said.
The gel contains hyaluronic acid and vitamin C – and doesn’t need to be washed off after application.
She also praised the budget buy’s scent and feel – claiming that it ‘wasn’t sticky’ and ‘smelled great’.
‘I look like I’ve just come back from the Bahamas,’ Christina said. ‘This is a better tan than I had coming back from Europe after six weeks.’
‘Now I see why this sells out almost immediately,’ she said. ‘Run, don’t walk.’

Other shoppers gave the product five stars, with many claiming it was ‘the best’.
‘Can you stop telling people,’ one joked. ‘I’ve been using B.tan for years now everyone knows my secret.’
‘I was gatekeeping that it’s at Woolies! This is the best tan, lasts forever, and so nourishing, no cracking skin feeling at all,’ a woman wrote.
While some shared valid concerns about the product.
‘How do you do this so streak free? I was SO patchy with B.tan,’ a woman said.
‘But what if you miss a spot? – It’s a clear gel,’ another noted.
