A new ultra-luxurious cosmetic clinic in an unassuming Sydney suburb is offering indulgent ‘facial experiences’ said to give immediate rejuvenating results – without using needles or lasers.
If you run your fingers over your skin to feel bumps and uneven texture, Contour Clinic‘s newly launched Signature Facial could be the answer.
While the cosmetic gurus are known for providing transformative non-surgical procedures like fillers, cool sculpting and laser treatments, their facials are perfect for those who want impressive results without any discomfort.
The new Signature Facial is a steep $250 but works to deeply exfoliate, boost circulation and promote collagen for a smoother, softer texture all while being pampered in a stunning location.
The ‘oxygenating’ facial is suitable for all skin types and ideal for those who struggle with a ‘moody’ or dull complexion or prone to breakouts.

Rather than just treating the surface of the skin, the facial goes deeper into the pores of your skin to remove toxins and debris that makeup removers and cleansers and toners can’t reach.
The Signature Facial is a two-step process involving a peel and a mask.
Firstly, the skin is prepped and lightly cleansed to ensure to the facial’s ingredients are fully absorbed.
Then a fruit enzyme mask combined with a deep thermal cleanser is applied to deeply cleanse.
It removes things like dirt, oil, makeup residue, sebum, dead skin cells and other clogging culprits blocking the pores to reveals a brighter complexion.
Next, a foaming Oxygenation Peel is worked into the skin until the foam is rich and creamy before it’s gently soaked off.

The Signature Facial isn’t the only facial treatment Contour Clinics offers for those wanting to splash some extra cash and treat their skin.
There is the $300 Dermaplaning Facial which works to clarify at a deeper level and leave your face feeling ‘silky smooth’.
For $499, the China Doll Facial gives a porcelain-like complexion using and innovative laser treatment to target uneven skin tone, dull complexion, pigmentation, hormonal changes, acne and sun damage.

I TRIED THE SIGNATURE FACIAL – IS IT WORTH THE PRICE?
I’ve never in my 30-plus years on this planet ever had a facial so when a generous invite from Contour Clinics appeared in my inbox, I was keen to give it a go.
The brown-brick building in Caste Hill doesn’t look like much from the front so I was impressed with the uber-stylish clinic I was greeted with when I went inside.
Tenny, the senior skin and laser therapist, was taking care of me for the day. She asked me about my skin woes and talked me through the process before getting started.
Tenny (pictured) is the senior skin and laser therapist and gave me The Signature Facial Treatment. I didn’t know what she was doing but it felt dreamy and I nearly nodded off
You’re laid down on the cushiest bed and even tucked in. It made it difficult not to doze off but Tenny assured me she didn’t mind if I started snoring – she said it would mean I was at peak relaxation.
I closed my eyes and let Tenny get to work, applying creams, cleansers, toners, masks and what not.
I didn’t know what she was doing but it felt dreamy and I nearly did nod off a few times.
The only piece of discomfort was when Tenny extracted a few blackheads around my nose but, honestly, I was happy to have them gone.
I’m lazy and erratic with my skincare ‘routine’, using products willy-nilly with no real rhyme or reason, so my skin felt lush after such a thorough treatment.

I left the room feeling glowing, pampered and spoilt before being treated to a cheeky glass of champagne in the heavenly waiting room to really top everything off.
While the experience was one I enjoyed the whole way through, I wondered if I would fork out $250 to do it again.
However, that could be down to my personal finances. Given the opportunity again, I definitely wouldn’t say no.
If the immediate results were noticeable after one treatment, I don’t doubt the long-term effects would be even better.
