Joe Rogan has revealed that Kamala Harris agreed to appear on his podcast, but he refused the conditions suggested by her team.
Rogan, who recently had a three-hour sit-down with Republican nominee Donald Trump, says the Harris campaign offered for him to interview the vice president on Tuesday, but would require him to ‘travel to her’ and ‘only wanted to do an hour’.
‘I strongly feel the best way to do it is in the studio in Austin,’ he revealed Monday night on X. ‘My sincere wish is to just have a nice conversation and get to know her as a human being. I really hope we can make it happen.’
Liberals have urged Harris to have a sit down with Rogan after it emerged that Trump’s interview with the podcaster amassed a staggering 17million YouTube views in less than 24 hours.
By comparison, Harris’ appearance on the Call her Daddy podcast with Alex Cooper has clocked just 685,000 views in the two weeks since it went live.

Rogan says the Harris campaign offered for him to interview the Vice President (pictured at a rally in Michigan on Thursday) on Tuesday, but would require him to ‘travel to her’ and ‘only wanted to do an hour’
Trump’s three-hour sit down with Rogan covered a wide range of topics including UFOs, the John F. Kennedy assassination files, the border and healthy food in the US.
As soon as the episode was released just after 10pm Eastern Time on Friday night, viewing figures skyrocketed with 300,000 in the first 30 minutes.
Trump had taken a break from the campaign trail to travel to Rogan’s studio for the interview, which resulted in him being late to his own rally in Traverse City, Michigan.
He and Rogan even discussed the possibility of Harris appearing on the show during their interview.
‘She was supposed to do it and she might still do it. I hope she does,’ Rogan told the former president.
‘I hope she does because it would be a mess. She’d be laying on the floor comatose. She’d be saying: “Call in the medics”,’ Trump said of his rival.

‘I could imagine her doing this show. She was supposed to do it. And she might still do it. And I hope she does. I will talk to her like a human being. I would try to have a conversation with her,’ Rogan told Trump.
‘I think we’d have a fine conversation. I think I’d be able to talk to her. I wouldn’t try to interview her. I’d just try to have a conversation with her and hopefully get to know her as a human being.
‘That was my goal. Having her on, trying to get her to express herself…’
Harris was also due to be interviewed by Rogan, but had to pull out due to scheduling conflicts, a spokesman previously said.
However, since details of Trump’s ratings emerged many liberals are urging her to sit down with the popular podcast host, with some even alleging that Trump is ‘polling up’ after his appearance on the show.
Both candidates have used podcast appearances as part of a strategy to use non-traditional media forms to reach more voters. But there are fears among Democrats that Trump has pulled this off much more successfully than his adversary.

The Joe Rogan Experience is the most popular podcast on Spotify, with more than 14million subscribers. Rogan also has nearly 18million YouTube followers and his videos routinely receive millions of views.
By appearing on Rogan’s podcast, Trump was able to appeal appeal directly to his 81 percent male listenership, of whom a majority are under 35.
This a demographic Harris has been struggling to woo, according to recent polling.
A USA TODAY/Suffolk University poll placed Trump leading among men 53 percent to 37 percent, while Harris’ lead with women is 53 percent to 36 percent.
