Beauty lovers are rushing to get their hands on Elf Cosmetics’ brand new liquid blush – and thousands claim it’s the ‘perfect dupe’ for Rare Beauty’s iconic Soft Pinch blush.
Selena Gomez‘s Rare Beauty’s blush has become a cult favourite among shoppers, and the brand sells $100million (AUD) worth of the buy each year.
But the $41 price tag dissuaded many who are on a budget – which is why Elf’s $13 Camo Liquid Blush is rising in the ranks.
Thousands online have already matched up the colours they believe are ‘dupes’ for the high-end celebrity beauty brand.
Makeup expert Monica, who goes by Mango Monica online, claimed Rare Beauty’s ‘Happy’ looked ‘identical’ to Elf’s ‘Pinky Promise’ – and she couldn’t tell the difference when she tried both on.

Both the Elf and Rare Beauty packaging are similar shapes, where the latter has more of a matte look.
Rare Beauty’s blush is also 7.5ml – while the dupe is 3.5ml.
Nevertheless, both brands claim that merely a dot of the product is enough to cover your whole cheek.
Beauty lovers online have already given the buy rave reviews, with many rating it five-stars.
‘The colours are not the same, but they have similar tones,’ makeup influencer Abby said in a video. ‘The Elf blush is very pretty – I’m obsessed with it. It’s the best dupe ever dropped.’
‘They look exactly the same on me,’ another noted. ‘The Elf is a bit dewier – which I prefer. Very beautiful.’
‘I bought all of the Elf shades and couldn’t be happier,’ a woman said. ‘Especially great if you’re on a budget – I’m going to gift some of these to my friends.’

But a few had some complaints about the budget version’s quality.
‘Personally, I’d pick Rare Beauty. It lasts WAY longer than Elf. I had to reapply thrice when I used it and never done that for Rare Beauty. They both look great though!’ a woman wrote.
Another echoed, ‘I have noticed that the Rare Beauty one lasts me all night until I wash it off with soap. The Elf one doesn’t last as long, I look so pale after a while.’
