Kmart Australia has released a new hair curler that fans say is a ‘dupe’ of the popular Dyson Airwrap – and it’s already sold out online.
The Air Styler costs $59 and promises to give ‘salon style’ at-home waves and curls.
The styling tool comes with four attachments, three heat and speed settings and a self cleaning function.
Brittany, from the Gold Coast, shared a TikTok demonstrating how to use the tool and was wowed by the results.
The 29-year-old has never used a Dyson Airwrap but loved the bouncy curls of the Kmart styling tool.
‘I can’t say no because I was never going to pay the amount for a Dyson,’ Brittany said in the clip.
She doesn’t even ‘know who can afford Dyson in this economy’.
While it was a learning curve figuring out how to use the beauty buy, she was ecstatic with the purchase.
Brittany who was ‘obsessed’ with the air styler’s results had actually purchased the tool when it was $69, Kmart is now offering it for $59
One fan thought Brittany’s ‘old Hollywood curl vibes’ looked even better than those achievable with the Dyson.
‘I was waiting for this day! I knew Anko was working hard in the labs making this,’ one excited fan said.
Another was devastated to see Brittany’s video, as they had just shelled out the eye-watering amount to purchase the Dyson model last week.
A third Kmart fan with long, thick hair took to Facebook to boast about the ‘chef’s kiss’ product that hadn’t even yet hit the shelves when she went in looking for it.
‘A Kmart worker asked me what I was looking for, she went out the back and stumbled across one. It hadn’t even processed to be on the shelves yet, these are going to sell out so quick,’ the buyer said.

The woman had previously used the Dyson model, which costs more than 10 times the price of the Kmart one, and confidently reported that there was ‘no difference at all’.
While one person did say the Dyson Airwrap promises to protect hair from heat damage, she couldn’t deny that the Kmart Air Styler was a much more attractive buy at its price.
‘Thanks for sharing, buying now,’ she said.
‘Get in my hot little hands,’ said another.
