Aldi Australia is set to release a high tech beauty gadget that costs $300 less than a celebrity-approved version.
The Illumia LED Light Therapy Face Mask ($249) is hitting the Special Buy’s aisle from the October 5 at a fraction of the cost of the Currentbody mask which retails for $585.
The device offers clinically proven results and can help reduce the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, sun damage, redness, dullness, blemishes and inflammation.
It comes with 11 pre-programed treatments to stimulate collagen production, target the bacteria that causes acne and help to promote a natural and healthy glow.
Owners of the futuristic face care gadget have raved about it doing ‘wonders’ for their skin and at a much lower cost than many LED face mask brands.
‘This works, I could see results within the first two weeks of using it…it’s life changing,’ one said.
‘I noticed a reduction in redness within a week and now get compliments often…my skin is so much more resilient,’ another added.
‘I have been using it 4-5 times per week. I absolutely LOVE the results. Also, because it’s flexible silicone I also use it on my neck and chest,’ a third chimed in.
The Illumia LED Light Therapy Face Mask ($249) is hitting the special buy’s aisle from the 5th of October and fans have said it is just as good as a version that costs hundreds of dollars more
The Currentbody led face mask is celebrity-approved and retails for $585
Some people even preferred the budget model to an alternative high end version that costs upwards of $600.
‘The Aldi mask has far more features than Omnilux’s mask (red, blue, green lights) and it has same the same intensity including near infrared, it is by far better value for your money,’ one said.
The mask’s design is described as safe and non-invasive and made with medical grade silicone, its pre-set programs are timed for 10 minutes and allow for easy rest and rejuvenation.
Fans of the LED device recommend using it several times a week as part of a relaxing skincare ritual.
This latest news comes after Aldi’s recent ‘Special Buys’ re-release of a range of quirky meerkat garden statues for $14.99.
The statues show meerkats dressed in costumes from The Wizard of Oz, including Dorothy and The Wicked Witch and were last released two years ago.
Excited fans took to Facebook to comment on the ‘super cute’ statutes and many had their hearts set on purchasing one.
‘I didn’t know I needed these in my life until now,’ one said.
