Oprah slipped into a pair of closed-toed, brown pumps to coincide with the color scheme of the ensemble.

She opted for minimal accessories to allow the outfit to be the main focal point, and added a pair of dangly, silver earrings.
The star’s makeup was classically done, and comprised of a layer of mascara to her lashes as well as a smoky shadow around her eyes.
Winfrey added a warm blush to her cheekbones, while a glossy nude-colored tint was worn on her lips for a finishing touch.
Oprah’s brunette locks were parted in the middle, and effortlessly flowed down past her shoulders in voluminous waves.
The talk show host flashed a cheerful smile as she paused for a brief photo session upon arriving to the ceremony.
She was also joined by U.S. Dream Academy founder, Wintley Phipps – who later presented Oprah the Legacy Award at the event.
It comes amid the star’s dramatic weight loss, and last year in December, Winfrey admitted to taking weight loss medication – although she has yet to reveal the specific drug.
At the time, Oprah told People, ‘I now use it as I feel I need it, as a tool to manage not yo-yoing…’

‘The fact that there’s a medically approved prescription for managing weight and staying healthier, in my lifetime, feels like relief, like redemption, like a gift, and not something to hide behind and once again be ridiculed for.’
Winfrey added, ‘I’m absolutely done with the shaming from other people and particularly myself‘ and explained she had recommended weight loss drugs to people before making the choice to also take the medication for herself.
She began taking the weight loss drug before the Thanksgiving holiday and stated that it ‘quiets the food noise.’
While also talking to People late last year, Oprah also expressed she was near her goal of weighing 160lbs – although she said ‘it’s not about the number.’
However, despite her weight loss journey being aided by medication, Oprah told the outlet that she also sticks to a fitness regime to also shed pounds, and maintain a lower weight.
‘It’s everything. I know everybody thought I was on it, but I worked so d**n hard. I know that if I’m not also working out and vigilant about all the other things, it doesn’t work for me.’
‘I had an awareness of [weight-loss] medications, but felt I had to prove I had the willpower to do it. I now no longer feel that way.’
After she disclosed that she had taken weight loss medication to achieve a lower weight, her partnership with Weight Watchers came to an end in February of this year.

And in July, Oprah further opened up about her weight loss journey and the epiphany she had during an interview on the podcast called The Jamie Kern Lima Show.
She recalled finding out that when it came to losing pounds – it was beyond her control.
‘I was like whoa it’s not even my fault – all these years, all those diets, all those times I tried, I came back and I tried again and I lost it. I’m climbing up the mountain I’m suffering, I’m starving.’
‘I’m not my fault,’ she emotionally continued to the host, before adding, ‘That was the moment and that was 2023.’
Winfrey continued, ‘I’ve done hundreds of shows about weight loss and had I can’t even tell you how many conversations about it but still carry my own shame.’
‘I had a big revelation on that State of Weight on Oprah Daily [in 2023] when [I had] one doctor after another doctor saying obesity is a disease – and I was like “I didn’t get that memo.”‘
‘What I understood from the State of Weight [discussion] that I had not understood for the past 48 years of battling my weight, is that there’s something in the brain that allows people – like myself – to metabolize fat differently than other people.’
Oprah further added, ‘No matter what I do I’m always going to go back to the set point that my brain thinks it needs to hold the weight.’

During the podcast episode, the star also remembered a 1988 segment of her talk show when she wheeled out 67 pounds of fat, and recalled starving herself for ‘nearly five months’ at the time.
However, despite restricting her diet, she explained, ‘Three days [after the show] I was five pounds heavier and a week later I was 10 pounds heavier.’
And a little over two weeks after the show had aired, Oprah had gained over 10 pounds. ‘I wouldn’t go because I thought I was too fat to go.’
‘I’d gone from 145 [pounds] on the day of the show and I think I was 157 in the course of like a week and a half or two – and the shame started again.’
She also talked about landing a spot in TV Guide – but was on the worst dressed list and on the cover, was described as ‘Bumpy, lumpy and downright dumpy.’
‘I was so proud of myself because I’d won the Bob Hope Award and they took the picture from that and it was “bumpy, lumpy and downright dumpy” and it was on the cover of all the magazines.’
‘I accepted that this thing that people have labeled me with: being fat, being overweight, being unable to control my willpower, not having any willpower,’ Winfrey said.
The topic was soon shifted to weight loss medication, and the star admitted, ‘I was judgmental [about people using weight loss drugs] because I have been so judged.’

‘The bottom line is we don’t know what that what the medications do in the long term – but we do know what obesity does in the long term.’
‘Yes, so the damage to your body versus taking the risk of “I’m going to control the weight [and] manage the weight to the best of my ability…”‘
