A Real Housewives star is denying insinuations she and her spouse forked over money to have their daughter accepted into an Ivy League school.
Real Housewives of Orange County star Heather Dubrow chat with Us Weekly on Friday in regard to the issue after an Instagram user asked her the size of the donation she made to the school, to which she replied, ‘$0.’
‘That ship sailed a long time ago,’ the reality star told the outlet more than six years after Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin were charged in a college admission scandal that ultimately led to convictions and incarceration for both actresses.
‘Even if I wanted to pay, that’s not a thing,’ the New York City-born Bravo star, who has 1.7 million followers on Instagram, told the magazine.
Dubrow, 56, who’s been wed to husband Terry since 1999, chat with the outlet at the 32nd Annual Race to Erase MS Gala, which was held in Los Angeles at Fairmont Century Plaza.
The proud parent is mom to Yale-bound daughter Katarina, 18, twins Nick and Max, 21, and Ace, 14.

Dubrow also provided a specific example of how she’s avoided trying to get her kids a leg up in the educational system.
The reality star pointed out a decision she made years back with her twins.
She said, ‘I’ll tell you a quick story – when the twins got into kindergarten, that process of private school kindergarten was so ridiculous to me and upsetting and it gave me so much anxiety [that I said], “I’m never doing this again.’
‘So I told all the kids when they got to high school, “If you want choices, study, and here’s your guidance counselor and do your best. I’ll be your cheerleader, but I’m not fighting with you. This is your life. It’s up to you.” And that’s exactly what we’ve done.’
Dubrow took to Instagram last month to announce her child’s educational achievement, as she was admitted to Yale – one of the schools that populate the exclusive Ivy league.

‘Another incredible evening at the 32nd Annual @racetoerasems event,’ Dubrow said. ‘Proud of my friend [Nancy Davis, the president and founder of the Race to End MS] and all that she’s accomplished to find a cure!
Dubrow said she loved ‘catching up with friends and raising funds for such an incredible cause!’
