Anne Hathaway and Josh Hartnett look like a couple very much in love while shooting a new film together in New York City.
The duo have been hard at work on the set of Verity, an adaption of the 2018 psychological thriller novel by Colleen Hoover, which comes amid the legal drama stemming from another of her film adaptions – It Ends With Us.
Hathaway and Hartnett can first be seen holding hands, dressed in high-end ensembles, with big smiles on their faces as they make their way along a sidewalk during a night on the town.
Then they inch closer together and begin to run alongside the bustling street with a man standing behind car, who appears to be their driver.
The leading man takes the lead for their brief sprint, all while keeping hold of his co-star’s hand, as they both appear to be laughing at the same time.
For the scene, Hathaway looks stylish in a red dress that is cropped in the front to help showcase her legs but long in the back flowing down near the ground.

Hathaway was announced as the lead in Verity in November, just a month before the legal drama between It Ends With Us stars Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni exploded.

The film adaption of Hoover’s book – It Ends With Us – remains at the center of legal controversy between stars Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni
Lively accused Baldoni of sexual harassment and orchestrating a smear campaign against her in a lawsuit filed in December, while Baldoni accused Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and publicist Leslie Sloane of defamation and extortion in a $400 million suit filed last month.
Both sides of the legal wrangling deny the accusations made by the other party in legal documents.
Michael Showalter is directing the new Verity film that’s based on the number one New York Times bestseller from Hoover.
Prior drafts were penned by Hoover and Lauren Levine, as well as Hillary Seitz, Angela LaManna, Will Honley, and April Maguire.
So far the theatrical premiere date for Verify has not yet been made public.
