If Kanye West ever tries to stage crash Taylor Swift again, he will have to go through Drew.
Drew is the name of a loyal security guard who has been seen shadowing the A-list singer, 35, from everywhere to the Grammys to the Super Bowl and everywhere in between.
A clip of Swift’s guard accompanying her to the restroom from Sunday’s Super Bowl in New Orleans went viral, prompting much online discussion about the price of superstardom and need for constant security.
One fan tweeted, ‘How sad is that? We all love Drew, but the fact he has to stand outside her stall…’ while another said, ‘It makes me so sad that she can’t even go to the bathroom alone.’
With that in mind, Dailymail.com is taking a closer look at Drew, whose life work is keeping the Safe & Sound singer safe and sound.
Dailymail.com has reached out to Swift reps for further comment about the man known as Drew.

Drew has been a reliable presence at Swift’s side for multiple years, and has become a darling of the singer’s vast community of fans known as Swifties.
‘Drew is literally her shadow,’ one social media user said of the guard. ‘I have so much respect for him and nobody dare cross him.
‘He may look nice but his sole purpose is to make sure nobody unalives her, which is terrifying. It allows her to have a NORMAL life. Bro will take someone DOWN and OUT in the blink of an eye.’
A Twitter account under the handle @christinakeen89 had highlighted many of Drew‘s finest moments working in the employ of the Grammy-winning entertainer.
In one instance last fall, Drew was seen telling a photographer to reposition themselves so they wouldn’t be in a position to take a picture up the singer’s skirt as she descended down a ramp
The incident occurred November 10 at Arrowhead Stadium, where Swift traveled to watch her beau Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs take on the Denver Broncos, and was posted to X/Twitter by a journalist.
‘Stand up, stand up, stand up,’ Drew could be seen telling a photographer in rapid succession, later thanking the person for their compliance.
Many of Swift’s fans have hailed the security guard’s reliable competence in a difficult job; devotion toward keeping the songstress protected; and his rapport with Kelce.

Not many details are known about Drew, as one TikTok clip circulating with more than 188,000 likes claimed that Drew is not actually the man’s real name.
The clip noted that Drew has intentionally kept off social media, and that he has a military background.
In around two decades of constant fame, Swift has instances in which people breached her boundaries in public.
The most famous instance came in September of 2009, when Kanye West stage crashed her at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards on September 13, 2009 at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
In the infamous exchange, West infamously interrupted Swift during her victory speech for the Best Female Video award for You Belong With Me, which had been nominated against Beyoncé’s Single Ladies.
As Swift accepted the longshot win, West emerged on the stage and took the microphone out of Swift’s hand.
‘Yo, Taylor, I’m really happy for you, I’mma let you finish,’ West said, ‘but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all-time! One of the best videos of all-time!’
