Good Morning America’s Ginger Zee has fans rallying round her after a social media user wrote a ‘creepy’ comment about one of her recent on-air outfits.
Last week, the meteorologist, 44, wore a bright pink button down maxi dress, completing the look with a pair of knee-length grey heeled boots.
The dress was one that Ginger has worn a number of times on the show, however this time around she had altered it ever so slightly.
One eagle-eyed male fan noticed this, and sought the opportunity to reach out directly to Ginger on X, formerly Twitter, writing: ‘What you did with that dress?
‘It’s one you wore many times but this time bottom portion unbuttoned to accommodate boots.
‘It’s almost like a new dress. Love that you did that.
‘In fact you should wear that dress like that more often boots or heels.’
Ginger kindly acknowledged the message and replied: ‘Yes! I’ve worn this one many times and just make little modifications to make it feel new.’

But many others felt uncomfortable by the exchange and questioned why the user was commenting on her clothing choices in the first place.
Taking to X, one said: ‘I think it’s kinda creepy that [he] is commenting on your clothing choices. Or any woman’s clothing choices. Unless it’s his wife or daughter, and then I hope they stand up for what they like.’
Agreeing with the commenter, another said: ‘Omg, I thought the same thing.’
‘She has a lot of creepers commenting on her page, and then again, she’s the one inviting it…’ a third noted.
Ginger has served as the chief meteorologist for ABC news since December 2013.
The presenter is married to Ben Aaron and together they share two sons, Adrian and Miles.
In 2023, Ginger hit back at a troll who had described her as looking ‘old in the face.’
‘Is that a bad thing? I’m proud of my age. Thanks,’ she responded at the time.

‘What matters is she’s a kind person, a smart scientist, and an admirable environmentalist.’
Another said: ‘Ms. Zee you are beautiful and smart.
‘Thank you for informing us about the weather and storms. I found your books inspiring.’
