Galatasaray have offered £8million for Southampton defender Kyle Walker-Peters.
Walker-Peters has played 22 times for the Saints this season, but Ivan Juric’s side are destined for an immediate return to the Championship, sitting on just six points from their 22 matches so far.
If they are relegated, they will lose much of their squad, with Walker-Peters one player who would be likely to depart.
Having signed a five-year deal with the club in 2020 when he joined from Tottenham, his contract is up at the end of the season, and there have been no signs that he will pen a new one.
Therefore, he could leave this month and earn the Saints a fee, however the 27-year-old is leaning towards seeing out his contract.
In total, he has made 189 appearances for Southampton, playing in either full back role and currently occupying the left wing back position.

Ivan Juric’s side will likely lose the defender for free at the end of the season if he does not leave this month
So far this month, the Saints have lost Ronnie Edwards, who has joined QPR on loan, Ben Brereton Diaz to Sheffield United on loan and Maxwel Cornet after his loan spell was cut short by West Ham.
In terms of incomings, centre back Joachim Kayi Sanda joined from Valenciennes FC for an undisclosed fee, while Wellington, Rento Takaoka and Albert Gronbaek all arrived for free.
The Saints will take on Ipswich this weekend as they look to salvage something from their season.
