Blake Lively has been accused of hitting an ‘unforgivable low’ after Justin Baldoni’s team were served legal documents as some of them tried to save their homes from the apocalyptic wildfires in Los Angeles.
The actress, 37, is embroiled in a bitter legal battle with her It Ends With Us costar Baldoni, 40, after she accused him of sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment while filming the hugely popular Colleen Hoover adaptation.
On Wednesday, she returned to social media for the first time since filing her bombshell lawsuit last month, to share resources with those affected by the devastating fires ravaging the Pacific Palisades and surrounding areas.
But her concern was condemned by sources close to Baldoni, who were reportedly preparing to evacuate at the time they were served with another complaint.
‘It is beyond despicable that Blake Lively’s team sent court servers to the noticeably damaged homes of Justin Baldoni’s team while they were preparing to evacuate with a young child inside on the same day as one of the largest tragedies that Los Angeles has ever witnessed,’ a source told DailyMail.com exclusively.
They claim it ‘contained zero new information’ since last week’s filing.

‘This desperate act of ego and privilege is even more horrendous set against the recent events in LA,’ they continued.
‘The defendants in her suit and their legal team have lost homes, been forced to evacuate and yet are still made to fight for their livelihoods and reputation against these egoistical people.
‘Certainly a new, unforgivable low for Ms.Lively.’
The insider said members of the team, who have also been subject to death threats from fans in the wake of Lively’s filing, received visits on January 7 and 8.
A spokesperson for Lively insisted they have ‘paused all attempts at service’ owing to the ongoing emergency.
‘We have been attempting to serve all of the defendants since the end of last year,’ they said in a statement to DailyMail.com.
‘This is a standard part of all lawsuits – and is legally required. We have paused all attempts at service until the emergency conditions in LA have passed.’
Lively was among a slew of celebrities who jumped to share useful information for those in need as the catastrophic blaze forced the evacuation of 180,000 people, destroyed more than 10,000 structures and left roughly 400,000 customers statewide without power earlier this week.

‘To everyone affected by the Los Angeles fires…’ Lively wrote across a post on Instagram highlighting the work of volunteer team Mutual Aid L.A. Network.
Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, 48, primarily reside in Pound Ridge, New York, with their four children: James, 10, Inez, eight, Betty, five, and Olin, one.
The post marked nearly three weeks since she filed a complaint to the California Civil Rights Department on December 20.
A lawsuit, in which she doubled down on her claim that Baldoni sexual harassed her and launched a retaliatory smear campaign against her, followed on New Year’s Eve.
On the same day Baldoni initiated a $250million libel action against the New York Times for its bombshell report on Lively’s first complaint and the publication’s claim that Baldoni is responsible for orchestrating a PR campaign to ‘bury’ Lively.
Lively claims Baldoni, who directed the summer movie, improvised unwanted kisses while filming, spoke frequently about his pornography addiction and sexual encounters, made comments about her weight and entered her trailer while she was undressed and breastfeeding her youngest child.
In his response, Baldoni, who vehemently denied the allegations, claimed the actress undermined him throughout the shoot, edited the final cut and attempted to have him banned from the movie’s premiere.
His lawyers are preparing to file against Lively.

The actress claimed in her lawsuit that the alleged smear campaign employed by Baldoni and team caused her to suffer ‘financial harms’ which ‘continue to the present’.
She states that her haircare brand, Blake Brown, and her two drinks ranges, Betty Buzz and Betty Booze, both suffered huge losses in sales due to the backlash she received.
It Ends With Us follows Lily Bloom, played by Lively, who becomes embroiled in an abusive relationship with Ryle Kincaid, portrayed by Baldoni, who also directed the movie.
Lively was widely criticised for failing to address the domestic violence storyline while promoting the film in interviews, instead opting to tell fans to ‘grab your friends, wear your florals and head out to see it.’
Baldoni was dropped by his agency William Morris Endeavor in the wake of the allegations.
