Dayle Haddon’s final modeling gig before her untimely passing on Friday was a stunning collaboration with Blake Lively for a Vogue spread published in September.
The legendary model and actress, who tragically died from suspected carbon monoxide poisoning at age 76, was featured alongside the It Ends with Us star in Baz Luhrmann’s The Heist of the Heart photoshoot—a reimagining of Alfred Hitchcock’s 1955 classic To Catch a Thief.
In one striking image, Dayle and Blake share the spotlight at a gambling table, exuding effortless elegance as they exchange chips, as seen in Dayle’s Instagram post of the snap.
While many celebrities have rallied around Blake amid her sexual harassment lawsuit against co-star Justin Baldoni, Dayle’s Instagram caption accompanying the photo made her admiration abundantly clear as she gushed about the actress.
‘Loved working beside the absolutely delightful, funny and mischievous @blakelively,’ Dayle wrote.
‘Not only is Blake beautiful, inside and out, she is generous to a fault, fixing my dress during takes, adjusting my fabulous @cartier jewels… making sure I was “shining” during the shoot!’

Haddon was tragically discovered unresponsive in a second-floor bedroom of a home in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, on Friday, December 27.
According to the official police report, 76-year-old Walter Blucas was also found unconscious on the first floor.
He was transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey, where he remains under medical care.
Investigators concluded that a carbon monoxide leak caused by a malfunctioning flue and exhaust pipe in the gas heating system was to blame.
‘This tragic incident is a stark reminder of the importance of carbon monoxide safety in our homes,’ the police report stated in a Dec. 28 update.
Haddon, a celebrated model and actress, was also the mother of journalist Ryan Haddon, who is married to actor Marc Blucas.
