On Boxing Day, Abbie took to Instagram to share an intimate video of Adam presenting her with a horseshoe necklace.

Captioning the tender video, Abbie admitted that she had never been so emotional over receiving a present.
‘I’ve never cried so much from a gift,’ she wrote.
‘Adam never got to meet my Grandma but he knows how much she means to me. My mum has worn my grandma’s horseshoe necklace ever since she passed away.
‘So, Adam got a custom horseshoe necklace made for me.’
Abbie also paid a sweet tribute to her grandmother, revealing that Carmel had been one of her strongest role models.

‘My grandma was my favourite person in the world and a huge reason for the beliefs I hold so strongly,’ she continued.
‘She was an orphan who became a dentist in Queensland in the 1950s 30 years before women could even have bank accounts.’
She then praised her thoughtful boyfriend, who even enlisted the help of Abbie’s mum to make the dream gift a reality.
‘Adam hears about her every day so he wanted to give me something that reminded me of her. He called my Mum to help him design the necklace,’ she said.
‘He went back and forth with my favourite jewellery designer to make it perfect.’
She concluded the sweet sentiment by admitting that her Grandmother was never far from her mind, particularly during the festive season.
‘I had cried the night before at dinner saying I wish Grandma was coming to Christmas and now, in a way, she was there,’ she wrote.
The sweet video was met with a flurry of comments from fans with many gushing over the couple’s strong bond.
