GK Barry and Alan Halsall have become the latest stars leave I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here in yet another shock double vote off.
The TikTok star, 25, was surprised by girlfriend Ella Rutherford and the couple shared a kiss on the famous bridge, after weeks of pining for a ‘snog’ from her partner.
Speaking about his time in the jungle Alan told hosts Ant & Dec: ‘I’ve learnt that I should put myself out there more, I can make friends’.
‘I was trying to get it through to other people to enjoy it, and crack on, when else are you going to be in the Jungle in the middle of Australia. You won’t believe it but back at home I won’t pick up a spider. But here one crawled across my face and another jumped in my mouth and I didn’t bat an eyelid’.
He went on: ‘Clearly I get emotional talking about my daughter, but the hardest thing also was boredom. Even though it’s only weeks, it’s very intense and when you see a loved one, it’s grabs your throat that emotion.
‘The first thing I could ask is is Sienna happy, is she happy watching daddy. I think Danny will win it, but I think for Oti it would be for her great to win for her career.’
Alan Halsall (L) and GK Barry (R) have become the eighth and ninth stars to be voted off I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here in yet another shock double vote off
The Corrie actor, 42, who plays Tyrone Dobbs, was greeted off the bridge by his brother Stephen and his best friend, Gareth, while TikTok star GK, 25, was surprised by girlfriend Ella Rutherford
While in the Jungle, Alan was embroiled in a row with the Radio 1 star, Dean McCullough, who aggressively accused the actor of not being patient enough after waking him up to do chores.
Dean grabbed Alan’s shoulder and said: ‘Listen to me. If you’re gonna wake me up, you need to give me a minute, alright? It takes a couple of minutes for my contact lenses to get back working again, alright, so you don’t need to turn around to me and say “Do you not fancy it, Ok?” And then turn around and walk away.’
The soap star held his tongue and his brother, Stephen, later told MailOnline, ‘He handled it so well, I would have said a lot more.’
The actor divorced his former Coronation Street co-star, Lucy-Jo Hudson, who played Katy Harris, in 2018, and together they share 11-year-old daughter Sienna-Rae who has reportedly ‘loved watching’ her father on the show.
During Tuesday’s I’m A Celeb Alan told Dean McCullough about his split, Alan said: ‘Lucy left Corrie in about 2005, then we got married in 2009. We then split up after Sienna was born.
‘I love what I’ve got, even now I’m on my own, I love it when it’s me and Sienna and that’ll change I’m sure, that’ll be different at some point but I’ve never done dating apps.’
Ms Hudson told her Instagram followers that same evening, ‘Myself and [Partner Lewis Devine] will be sat down with Sienna watching the jungle. We wish him nothing but the best.’
‘We are going to be there for Sienna supporting her throughout this journey because, yes, she’s going to miss her dad. He’s in her life all the time, so this is quite a strange thing.’
Meanwhile GK, whose real name in Grace Keeling, formed an unlikely friendship in the Jungle with Reverand Richard Coles, 62, after they discussed juggling sexuality with religion on Monday night’s episode.
She told Richard she used to be religious, and spoke about going to a religious camp when she was younger, where there were men telling her not to have sex before she was married.
Grace, who is dating Lioness Ella, then said that even at 13, she thought: ‘Well, that’s not gonna happen. I see my future and it involves scissoring now.’
Richard asked Grace what scissoring is, which she chose not to explain to him in detail, but did tell him it was something that lesbians do.
He then started making jokes about the ‘sizzling scissoring sisterhood’, and the pair collapsed into giggles.
GK admitted in the Bush Telegraph: ‘I came into this jungle, maybe not knowing who I would gel with or who I would be close with in here and never in a million years if you told me that I would be getting on best with a reverend would I have believed you.
‘But, he is honestly… I think he might be my favourite person in here.’
