Tori Spelling has revealed that she once kissed actor John Corbett at a Christmas party – while she was ‘kind of dating’ her Beverly Hills, 90210 costar Vincent Young.
The actress, 51, opened up about the racy smooch during the latest episode of her Misspelling podcast.
Tori, whose father, Aaron Spelling, was one of the most successful Hollywood producers, explained that while she was growing up, her family would throw an annual ‘epic’ holiday celebration the day before Christmas with a slew of Hollywood stars.
And she admitted that she crossed paths with John, now 63, at the party one year, and they instantly ‘hit it off.’
After a night of ‘getting to know each other,’ Tori confessed that they locked lips while she was walking him out.
‘My parents would throw the most epic Christmas Eve party that was known all over town. Like the Kardashians but on a smaller level,’ she dished.

‘My dad would always court new talent that he was trying to put on shows [by inviting them to the party], so they would come.
‘This is before Sex and the City, but John Corbett came. And he and I totally hit it off, and I remember having a kiss with him Christmas Eve.’
Tori explained that while he hadn’t been cast in Sex and the City yet, John was already a ‘big TV star’ because he had starred in the series Northern Exposure.
She added that her dad wanted him ‘in something’ he was producing, but John never did because he joined Sex and the City soon after.
‘It was a full kiss but it wasn’t a long kiss,’ she continued. ‘It took place outside. He was leaving the party and I walked him out because we had been hanging out all night and getting to know each other.’
She added that in the weeks that followed, John would ‘call her’ and even tried to ask her on a date, but she turned him down because she was ‘kind of dating’ her Beverly Hills, 90210 costar Vincent.
‘I felt so foolish because I was kind of dating but not dating … Vincent Young at the time,’ she said.
‘Because of that, John would call me and we were supposed to go on a date but I didn’t reciprocate.’

Tori also spoke out about a nasty ‘brawl’ that broke out at one of her family’s Christmas Eve parties between her then-boyfriend Nick Savalas and Luke Perry (seen in 2005)
Elsewhere during the episode, Tori also spoke out about a nasty ‘brawl’ that broke out at one of her family’s Christmas Eve parties between her then-boyfriend Nick Savalas and her fellow Beverly Hills, 90210 star Luke Perry.
Tori explained that Luke felt like Nick, whom she dated from 1992 until 1995, wasn’t ‘treating her’ right.
She said the actor was ‘like a big brother to her’ and ‘couldn’t stand’ to see her going through a ‘bad’ relationship.
‘There was an infamous fight that happened at one of the Christmas Eve parties between my “bad boyfriend” Nick and Luke Perry,’ she revealed.
‘He fought him and [Jason Priestley] broke it up. Everyone had enough. Luke was like a big brother to me when I was young.’
Tori explained that things turned physical after Nick approached Luke at the Christmas Eve party and tried to speak to him.
‘My parents didn’t like him, my friends didn’t like him. Some people would tolerate him out of respect for me,’ she continued.
‘Jason was more neutral even though he didn’t like him. But Luke couldn’t hide it. If Nick would say hi to Luke he’d just look at him and walk away.
‘I don’t know what exactly happened but I think Nick approached Luke … I don’t know what happened next but there was a brawl and Jason had to break it up.
‘Luke loved me so much he was like, “I can’t take this anymore. I can’t watch you treat her this way.”
‘It was awful because Nick was like, “I’m leaving I’m out of here,” and I was like, “please don’t leave.” It was not a good situation.’
Tori added that after the altercation, she and Luke ‘didn’t talk’ for a few months, which made things tense on set.
‘Luke and I didn’t talk for months on set. I was pissed, I was upset. Of course he was right and just trying to protect me and save me but I was young and foolish,’ she stated.
In the end, however, she said her castmates ‘had an intervention’ in order to ‘get her out of the relationship.’
She recalled Luke telling her after they made up, ‘I couldn’t watch you go through this, you’re family to me and seeing the way this guy treated you wasn’t OK. I couldn’t stand by anymore.’
She added that everything is ‘fine’ now between her and Nick, and that decades on, they’re still ‘on speaking terms.’
