Former WNBA star Kysre Gondrezick has revealed her life is more than hectic than ever, despite being cut earlier this year.
The guard, 27, was cut by the Chicago Sky in June after seeing just 16 minutes of action on the court in the WNBA this year.
However, that doesn’t mean that Gondrezick isn’t booked and busy. In fact, the player has revealed that she’s just as busy as she juggles all aspects of her life – both on and off the court.
The free agent is juggling the newfound influx of fashion opportunities, alongside maintaining her training with the view to making a comeback in the league.
‘I am all over the place right now,’ Gondrezick told The New York Post. ‘I’m in acting classes, acting training. I’m getting ready to shoot some film work for 2025.
‘It’s been a heck of a year. It is funny, someone said, “You have trended more since you’ve been cut and since you were in the league — and you were trending so much in the league.” I’m just living in the beauty of my purpose.’

Gondrezick caught the eye of several brands – most notably Victoria’s Secret – with her fashion-forward tunnel fits, including sultry power suits.
Gondrezick, like former teammate and close friend Angel Reese, has enjoyed a whirlwind foray into the world of fashion, attending New York Fashion Week in September and the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in the Big Apple last month.
She even attended the Tommy Hilfiger Fashion Show on September 8 with boyfriend, Jaylen Brown, a championship-winning NBA star with the Boston Celtics.
In fact, just one week after being waived by the Sky, Gondrezick joined the 2024 NBA Finals MVP at the Celtics’ championship parade on June 21.
The sports power couple took their relationship to the next level the following month when they made their red carpet debut at the 2024 ESPY awards.
‘So it’s been an amazing year, honestly,’ she said. ‘And I think that the kickstart started with me being back in the league. That was the ultimate goal was to get back in the W. Obviously it didn’t pan out the way that I anticipated into the completion of a season, but I don’t question God.
‘… I’m just excited to see the outcome of what my journey is going to be with the W, because I don’t think that I’m done anytime soon. I don’t want to say that that was an ending. I want to say it was more so a transition.’
Despite her rise to fame away from the court, Gondrezick insisted the goal still was to return to basketball.

Gondrezick was selected out of West Virginia University with the No. 4 overall pick by the Fever in the 2021 WNBA draft.
She spent training camp with the Sky in 2022, who signed her to a one-year, non-guaranteed deal.
She has remained focused on her ‘true love’ basketball since being cut, revealing that she has been working ‘really hard’ in workouts.
And now, as she targets a return to the W, she admitted that she would leap at the chance to play in the ‘Unrivaled’ league this offseason.
‘Nothing’s off the table for me,’ Gondrezick said when asked about the new 3×3 league founded by the Liberty’s Breanna Stewart and Lynx’s Napheesa Collier.
‘I’m just trying to take one day at a time honestly, and doing my part and staying ready so that I don’t have to get ready. Obviously that has also been a conversation as well. I have my team, my agents already connecting with coaches, general managers, just wanting to know my regimen.’
Gondrezick wasn’t selected in the league’s first draft last week but two wild card spots remain open.
In the meantime, the Michigan native teased a ‘huge project’ set to be announced soon.
