Aldi Australia launches ‘best ham range ever’ ahead of Christmas – and the luxe options start from 40c a serve

Aldi Australia has launched its holiday meat collection – and Aldi’s popular Christmas ham is leading the range.

The bargain supermarket has seven delectable ham options available in stores now, with several kinds of fresh turkey and chicken being added to the range from 18 December.

The vast collection caters to every taste and budget – with prices starting from as low as 40c a serve for the Australian Half Leg Ham ($7.99/kg).

Shoppers on a budget will also enjoy the Triple Smoked Boneless Ham at $12.99 p/kg, which is 65c a serve.

Aldi has also introduced a new variety to the range – and it is sure to be a front runner.

Australians will be rushing to get their hands on the Free Range Lightly Smoked Boneless Ham Portion ($19.99/kg) because of its traditional and delicate flavour.

Hosts who want to go the extra mile can pair the Crackling Ham ($19.99 p/kg) and Australian Quarter Portion Leg Ham ($11.49 p/kg) with a brown sugar honey pineapple glaze and a pomegranate and maple glaze.

Those looking to spent the festive season picnicking outdoors or at the beach will enjoy the Sliced Ham off the Bone ($10.99), which is best served on a baguette with fresh tomatoes, cranberry sauce, and sliced gouda cheese.
