It’s been a busy few months for loved-up Aussie sporting couple Nathan Cleary and Mary Fowler.
Fresh from spearheading Penrith to their fourth consecutive premiership title, Cleary jetted off to Europe to catch up with his girlfriend and enjoy a romantic getaway.
The pair have been spotted in Manchester, attending the Super League Grand Final at Old Trafford, while exploring the city’s shops, restaurants and sights.
They have also been pictured exploring the UK coastline, lapping up the sun in Majorca and enjoying a dip in a Swiss lake.
While the Panthers halfback has now returned home to Australia and has undergone surgery on a troublesome shoulder injury that has caused issues throughout his premiership season, Cleary has been reflecting on his romantic summer getaway with Fowler.
In recent weeks, the pair have taken to Instagram on several occasions to post snaps from their time off.

It comes as Fowler has continued to play for Manchester City and the Matildas, with Cleary going to watch her play.
On Tuesday, the 27-year-old took to Instagram to post several more snaps of himself and Fowler, captioning the post: ‘Downtime Pt.2’ with a ‘palm tree’ emoji.
Cleary posted a snap of himself appearing to walk to the beach, hanging out with friends and exploring a European city with Fowler.
He also shared a clip of himself playing darts with the Man City star, who was seen almost hitting a bullseye.
It comes after Fowler appeared to express her feelings for the footy star through a rather creative series of Instagram posts.
Fowler had also shown her followers her stunning new look, coming from her high-profile job with one of the world’s leading cosmetic brands.
Fowler announced she had become an ambassador for cosmetics giant L’Oreal back in March and was pictured looking very glamorous as she posed for the snaps.
She and the Penrith Panthers star have posted about each other regularly since he returned to Australia. Their relationship appeared to step up a notch after Cleary was seen holding Matildas star Katrina Gorry’s daughter Harper as he watched Fowler’s side take on Germany.

The NRL star had previously posted several pictures of himself and Fowler on Instagram, captioned: ‘Down time’, during which he published several pictures of the couple enjoying their holiday in Europe.
The pair had also revealed that they had heartwarmingly painted portraits of each other during their trip abroad.
With Cleary back Down Under and Fowler still in the UK, she took to Instagram to post several cute pictures which could have been a message to her boyfriend.
In one snap, she had taken a picture of a water mark shaped like a heart on a pavement, and added an ‘I’ and a ‘U’ to the picture to spell out ‘I heart u more’.
She had also done the same with a few locks of hair that had appeared to form the shape of a heart.
Bombshell claims were made last week by Rugby Australia boss Hamish McLennan that he had been contacted by a third party who had told him that Cleary was interested in switching codes.
It comes after Joseph Sua’ali’i signed a $5million deal to leave the Roosters and join up with the Waratahs.

‘Earlier this year, I got told Cleary and a few other top NRL players were keen to come to rugby via a third party,’ McLennan told News Corp.
‘It wasn’t directed at me, but I believe it was all real.
‘Perhaps they [Cleary and the other NRL players] were wanting to test the waters with a few people, but by then I had left Rugby Australia.
‘I left it alone as I felt it had nothing to do with me.’
