Wayne Rooney kept it low-key as he headed out in Wilmslow, Cheshire on Thursday after his wife Coleen entered the I’m A Celebrity jungle.
The football manager, 39, was spotted filling up his car at the petrol station near his home where he is solo parenting their four boys – Kai, 15, Kit, 11, Klay, eight, and six-year-old Cass.
Wayne is unlikely to be flying out to Australia to meet Coleen when she departs the camp while being tied to his job as a manager at Plymouth Argyle.
Leaving the station, he shielded his face with a black baseball cap and wore a fleece with a padded coat and joggers.
Coleen is set to rough it in camp with a cast of famous faces like former Strictly pro Oti Mabuse and McFly’s Danny Jones in the ITV competition, which kicks off on Sunday.
