Donald Trump‘s promotion of immigration hawk Stephen Miller is outraging Democrats – and his own family – who oppose strict immigration policies.
Longtime Trump advisor Stephen Miller – the top mind behind Trump’s mass deportation plan – was recently tapped by the president-elect to be the White House deputy chief of staff for policy.
Miller is expected to enact some of the strictest immigration reforms in U.S. history after Trump has blamed Joe Biden and Kamala Harris for allowing ’21 million illegals to pour in from all over the world.’
His return to the White House is frightening his uncle, Dr. David Glosser, a retired neuropsychologist and outspoken critic of Trump.
He told DailyMail.com that Miller cuts against the values that allowed their shared ancestors to find refuge in America over a century ago.
Speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com, Glosser revealed his concern over Miller’s role in fulfilling Trump’s hardline immigration agenda.
‘Stephen is just an ambitious functionary of [Trump’s] dark impulse,’ he said.

‘I expect to have my lowest expectations met,’ Glosser said of his nephew’s recent promotion to a top White House position.
Trump wants loyalty, and that’s exactly what Miller offers, Glosser said, adding that the Republican values devotion over proven bona fides.
‘Trump has casually remarked that our constitution can be suspended and that he would be willing to exercise dictatorial powers,’ Glosser told DailyMail.com.
‘We can expect that he will fill his cabinet and staff with those whose primary qualification is personal obeisance to him rather than loyalty to the rule of law as outlined in our constitution.’
Glosser continued: ‘We all have moral decisions to make in life. How can we live together? Do we wish to dwell in light, fellowship, and hope or in darkness, hostility, and fear? Now we will find out. Stephen is just an ambitious functionary of the dark impulse.’
Glosser is clearly not a fan of the president-elect and repeatedly lambasted the Republican to DailyMail.com.
His outrage follows criticism from CNN pundit Tara Setmayer, who called Miller a ‘despicable human being’ moments after the pick was announced.
‘He’s a despicable human being that is a racist and a xenophobe, and his own family has disowned him,’ she stated, referring to his uncle.
Trump also tapped former ICE Director Tom Homan to be his new ‘border czar’ as he ushers in a new era of strong border security.
Dr. David Glosser, a former neuropsychologist, told DailyMail.com his nephew’s ambition has led Miller to carry out the ‘dark impulse’ of Donald Trump
Homan said he will make it a priority to ‘secure the border and do this deportation operation.’
‘I think the calling is clear,’ Homan said on Fox & Friends. ‘I’ve got to go back and help.’
‘I’m pissed off with what [the Biden] administration did to the most secure border in my lifetime, so I’m going to go back and do what I can to fix it,’ he added.
The House Homeland Security Committee released immigration statistics dating back to when Biden first took office.
Since fiscal year 2021, over 10.8 million migrants have been encountered in addition to over 2 million gotaways, the committee wrote.

Starting with the asylum apps used by migrants to gain interviews and then targeting the super gangs terrorizing American cities, the pair is laying out who will be targeted for removal from the country.
After being sworn in on January 20, President Donald Trump will immediately axe the CBP One Mobile app program, billed as the ‘legal way’ for migrants at the southern border to request an asylum interview at a port of entry, according to sources close to Trump’s transition team.
The program hears 1,450 asylum claims a day across the entire US-Mexico border.
‘They’re going to close the border down immediately,’ Mar-a-Lago regular and Miami immigration attorney Rolando Vazquez told DailyMail.com.

When it come to his nephew, Glosser says political loyalty trumps family history.
‘As for Stephen, he is the direct descendant of refugees from the pogrom ridden Russian Empire in 1903-1906.’
‘More than 70 of our family who were denied entry to the US from 1925-1940, because of their ethnicity/religion, due to the xenophobia of the ‘America First’ political faction of the day, were all gassed or machine gunned by the Nazi Einsatzgruppen in WWII,’ Glosser continued.
His use of ‘America First’ is a direct play on Donald Trump’s use of the phrase during his first campaign and White House term.
The retired doctor has also repeatedly written about his nephew’s conservatism, including contributing to a book about Miller with the not-so-subtle title ‘Hatemonger.’

Trump has frequently touted his policy agenda as ‘America First’ and Miller eventually started a nonprofit using the same name – America First Legal.
After Trump’s 2020 election loss, Miller stuck around D.C. and founded the conservative nonprofit America First Legal.
The group has mustered up legal challenges to federal diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, affirmative action, and immigration policies – all top issues for Trump.
American First Legal brought a lawsuit against Target ‘regarding its radical LGBTQ political agenda.’
The group also filed a complaint against home goods supplier Williams-Sonoma for potentially violating equal opportunity employment regulations.
Glosser says the rhetoric used by his nephew is akin to that used by the Nazis.
‘The killers’ political masters’ rhetoric had portrayed them as being sub-human, criminal, or even demonic elements that needed to be expelled, expunged, and eventually exterminated,’ the retired doctor said.
‘The same pattern of seeking power by exciting and exploiting racial anxieties and blaming scapegoats in times of plague, economic, or social turmoil has been a tragic element of human history since time immemorial.’
