Veteran halfback Adam Reynolds will finish his NRL career at the Broncos after he penned a new one-year deal, with Brisbane also re-signing Kotoni Staggs and young gun Blake Mozer.
Reynolds, 34, had been linked with a potential move to the Wests Tigers, but those rumours have officially been quashed with the skipper to stay put until the end of the 2026 season.
Reynolds will be 36 when that deal expires, with the champion playmaker expected to take up a coaching role with the club when he hangs up his boots.
He has previously stated he loves the lifestyle in Brisbane following his move from the Rabbitohs after losing the 2021 Grand Final.
‘The club and city have welcomed me and my family with open arms, family means everything to me and this is home,’ he said.
‘We are really building something special here and I want to be a part of that moving forward.

‘To be able to finish my career at the club which has given me so much over the past few seasons means a lot to me.’
Tigers fans were hopeful Reynolds would join the club – and it is understood the playmaker has sacrificed up to $1million by staying put in Brisbane.
The joint venture club are looking for stability in the halves following the departure of young gun Lachlan Galvin to the Bulldogs.
‘Yes, I was seriously tempted,’ Reynolds said recently.
‘Benji (Marshall) is a great coach, I’ve always had a lot of time for him – I idolised him as a player when I was growing up.
‘But at the end of the day, family is the most important thing, and if I did leave for Sydney, it would have been without the family, and that was going to be too hard.
‘The Tigers have a great spine, and I spoke to Benji about how me and Jarome (Luai) could have worked.
‘He’s an instinctive player who brings a lot of energy and plays off the cuff, while I’m that organising half.

‘The biggest thing for me was I believed I could have added a lot to that team.’
Meanwhile, Staggs has inked a three-year extension that will keep him at Red Hill until the end of 2028.
It could spell the end of Selwyn Cobbo’s time at the club, especially given he is currently out of favour at NRL level.
The club also re-signed Blake Mozer for a further two seasons, with big things expected of the hooker who joined the team’s junior development program when he was just 13.
