Fans are bugging out after actress Jenny Mollen revealed she took a five-hour flight while infected with head lice.
Mollen, who is married to American Pie star Jason Biggs, claimed in a recent Instagram video that she made the discovery mid-flight.
‘I can’t even deal. This is insane, you guys,’ Mollen said in the video while in her seat on the plane.
‘I’ve never had lice in my life. I don’t know what to do,’ she added.
‘I’ve been itching for two weeks, so they’ve been living on me for two weeks.’
In an apparent effort to prevent spreading the lice, the Crazy, Stupid Love actress opted for a questionable solution: a plastic bag over her head.
Users on social media expressed dismay and anger, criticizing Mollen for potentially endangering other passengers.
‘New fear of planes unlocked,’ one user commented on her post.

‘For Gods sake please tell the crew.’
‘So you got on an airplane instead of cleaning yourself wow priorities…’ a third wrote.
‘…spreading it everywhere what a slob.’
In response, Mollen explained in a second video that she was unaware of the infestation until she was already on the plane.
‘I thought that I was going through perimenopause,’ she explained.
She has since undergone treatment, along with her family and several others who were exposed.
Mollen also blamed her husband for failing to thoroughly check her hair when they initially suspected an issue.
